So some days ago WhatsApp has sent mail to every user who uses Whatsapp back up to Google Drive. If you back up your Whatsapp data to your Google Drive you will also receive the Official mail from Google Drive. In that mail, WhatsApp has said that their agreement with Google has ended and there may be no way to renew it anyhow that’s for why they have declared to back up their WhatsApp chat to Google Drive before 12th November 2018 otherwise no longer back up is available for these users who have not yet backed up their data for 1 year or more.
WhatsApp Chat Backup is No Longer Available
Whatsapp has also declared that you may lose your data if you still not backed up your data so its recommended to back up your WhatsApp chat before 12th November 2018 otherwise you may lose your data permanently.

So its strongly recommended to back up your Whatsapp data before the estimated date. You follow the below lines to back up your data.
- Open WhatsApp
- Go to –> Settings
- Tap on –> Chats
- Click on –> Chat Backup
- Now Select your Google Drive Mail ID before backup
- Then tap on green back up button –> BACKUP
This can take a while based on your chatting size. You can smaller the chat size by excluding photos and videos.
Now if you backed up WhatsApp Chat data into your Google Drive and you can manually remove to backed up data too. As WhatsApp data is hidden in Drive. So to remove your WhatsApp data from your Google Drive you can follow the below option.
- Open Google Drive From Web, not App. You can open by going through https://drive.google.com
- Now go to –> Settings
- You can see –> Manage Apps
- Go to –> Manage Apps
- Scroll down & find WhatsApp Messenger
- Click & Remove
Thus you can remove your backed up data from your email id or if you want to change your backed up email id then you can follow this too. In such case, you have to delete your WhatsApp backed up data and log in with your new fresh email id and back up into it.
